How to Open Tata Nexon Hood?

Opening the hood of your Tata Nexon is a straightforward two-step process. First, locate the primary hood release lever inside the cabin. This lever is typically found on the driver's side, either beneath the dashboard near your left knee or on the kick panel. Pull this lever firmly; you'll hear a distinct 'pop' as the hood slightly disengages from its latch. Next, proceed to the front of your Nexon. Gently lift the hood a few inches and feel underneath its front edge, usually slightly off-center, for the secondary safety latch. This is often a small lever or tab that needs to be pushed or pulled to the side. Once this secondary latch is disengaged, you can fully lift the hood. Finally, secure the hood in the open position by locating the prop rod, usually clipped to the underside of the hood or within the engine bay, and inserting its end into the designated slot to prevent accidental closure.
