Norm Lewis' First Show as the Phantom

Norm Lewis became the first African American actor to play the Phantom on Broadway on May 12, 2014. Sierra Boggess re-joined the company for a limited time to play alongside him as Christine. They had previously played in the Little Mermaid together. This is the full show; Norm has a few vocal slips here and there, but it was his first night. The audience is super enthusiastic, and Norm is really great. I saw him live and he really reminded me of Michael Crawford in the way that he acted and held himself onstage.
