How to Build a Syllabub Maker Part 2

Here’s the next steps to building the syllabub maker! It’ll probably take me about 4 videos to do this, and that’s with me skipping some of the steps, as you can see those processes on other videos already, and I don’t like to be redundant. :P I’m still guessing a bunch! But it’s turning out pretty sweet so far!

As promised, here is the vintage syllabub recipes. The original has zero measurements, like you have to guess (lol), so here’s a more usable version:

2 cups port or white wine
½ cup white sugar
½ tsp ground nutmeg
2 quarts cold milk

Place the sugar, wine and nutmeg in a large bowl (like a punch bowl).
In the syllabub maker, place 2 cups of the milk and beat with the syllabub plunger until frothy. Add the milk to the serving bowl, and repeat until all the milk is used up. Stir and serve in glassware.
To make Devonshire style, top each glass of syllabub with cinnamon whipped cream (1 cup heavy cream beat with 1 Tbsp white sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon)
