Stevie creates Dirty Ghetto Kids in 2002. The early DGK team consisted of team riders such as Wade Desarmo, Lenny Rivas, Darren Harper, and Marcus McBride.

In 2004, DGK signed a massive shoe deal with Reebok to launch the RBK-DGK line; it was a 3 year multi-million dollar deal. Stevie notes that on his worst months he was making over 100k a year on the complex sneaker podcast.
DGK has since collab’d with Zero skateboards, Bruce Lee, Cup Noodles, Diamond, ES, Love Park, High Times, and G shock watches.
In 2012, DGK was hurting bad. With the boards in Macy’s, the brand’s image was starting to lose core status, and at the same time was being sued by Rick Ross for an unpaid contract. Team riders weren’t getting paid, and were starting to leave.
DGK has since recovered, releasing it’s most recent video “Saved.” Their team now consists of Stevie Williams, Dane Vaughn, Josh Kalis, John Shanahan, Marcus McBride, Chaz Ortiz, and Boo Johnson.
Most recently, DGK has started to regain a street wear status, working even with Virgil Abloh of Louis Vuitton to release limited edition collections. Stevie even notes at one point he received a call from Michael Jackson, to visit the Neverland Ranch, along with Chad Muska.
