Build a House Shaped Toddler Bed

Build a House-shaped, Montessori-style, fun toddler bed for your child or somebody else! There is a cut-list below. This bed uses a crib mattress, so it helps a child make the transition from a crib into a toddler bed. The mattress is very near the floor, so your child is safe from falls.

4pcs 2x4x44" mitered one end vertical posts
2pcs 2x4x24" headboard/footboard bottoms
2pcs 2x4x25-1/8" mitered one end long rafter
2pcs 2x4x21-5/8" mitered one end short rafter

2pcs 1x2x52" rails/slat supports

Holes for dowels should be drilled as follows:
on 18" pieces, measure and drill holes 7-1/8" from each end
on 30-1/2" pieces, measure and drill holes 7-3/16" and 11-1/4" from each end and one hole in the center at 15-1/4"
