SolidWorks Tips & Tricks - How To Properly Apply Screw Mate
This tutorial video will teach you how to apply screw mate. A Screw mate constrains two components to be concentric, and also adds a pitch relationship between the rotation of one component and the translation of the other. Translation of one component along the axis causes rotation of the other component according to the pitch relationship. Likewise, rotation of one component causes translation of the other component. Similar to other mate types, screw mates do not prevent interference or collisions between components. To prevent interference, use Collision Detection or Interference Detection.
The SolidWorks and SolidWorks Visualize tutorial videos on this channel will teach you how to use SolidWorks and SolidWorks Visualize software programs to accurately draw 2D drawings, design 3D (dimensional) models and make photo-realistic renderings of any product.
In the 3D SolidWorks tutorial videos, you will learn how to design solid models in Solidworks using various SolidWorks features such as extruded base/base, revolved boss/base, swept boss/base, lofted boss/base etc. These videos will also teach you how to create a sketch on a sketch planes and how to turn a sketch into a solid model in SolidWorks.
The 2D SolidWorks drawings tutorial videos on this channel will teach you to make engineering drawings in SolidWorks using various SolidWorks tools such as: adding view layout, annotation, and how to make projected, auxiliary, section and detail views. These SolidWorks tutorial videos will also teach you how to create a bill of materials, add parts dimension, tolerances, and GD&T.
The SolidWorks Visualize tutorial videos on this channel will teach you how to make high-resolution photo-realistic renderings to visualize any product. These SolidWorks Visualize tutorial videos typically cover the following SolidWorks Visualize workflow:
