Pyrogreen provides customized industrial-grade biomass pyrolysis equipment, focusing on the efficient production of biochar from various biomass wastes. For this process of converting biomass into high-quality biochar through pyrolysis (i.e., baking), our process experts will work closely with you to tailor the most suitable screw pyrolysis system solution based on your raw material characteristics.
First, raw materials are fed into the system via a belt conveyor. The dried material then enters the carbonization unit through a feeding device. In the screw conveyor carbonizer, the raw materials undergo baking or carbonization.
Simultaneously, the syngas produced in the reaction enters the adiabatic combustion chamber through pipes for combustion. The high-temperature flue gas generated provides a heat source for the carbonizer, achieving closed-loop energy utilization.
The freshly produced biochar is extremely hot and needs to be cooled by a water-jacketed cooling screw conveyor. Finally, the cooled biochar is sent to a biochar packaging machine.
A waste heat boiler converts the remaining heat into steam or hot water, and the exhaust gas is purified and safely discharged through an induced draft fan.
