Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey Unite on ‘The Me You Can’t See’. Prince Harry has emerged only recently from a period of great pain, as described by his new Apple TV Plus series “The Me You Can’t See”. The Duke of Sussex has revealed he was “afraid” to return to the UK for the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral last month, which he feared would be a “trigger” for his past trauma. In a clip from Apple TV's The Me You Can’t See, the Duke said he was “worried” about going back to London. The Duke also accused the Royal family of "total neglect" and of "bullying him into silence" in an emotional interview.

Oprah Winfrey’s interview earlier this year with the former working royal and his wife Meghan put utterly modern confessionalism to work to explode the image Buckingham Palace had cultivated over centuries. The pair’s revelations about their alienation from what they described as a restrictive, unfeeling and openly racist “firm” raised painful and pointed questions about what lay ahead for a family so bound up by tradition that it broke members apart.

The Me You Can’t See is a new docuseries co-created by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry, that explores mental health and emotional well-being with stories from people around the world. With storytelling at its core, this timely series gives a voice to stories that aim to seek truth, understanding and compassion. It’s about people, our experiences, and why we feel the way that we do. Watch now on Apple TV+ https://apple.co/_TheMeYouCantSee

Executive produced by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry, “The Me You Can’t See” is also executive produced by Harpo Productions' Terry Wood and Catherine Cyr, along with RadicalMedia’s Jon Kamen, Dave Sirulnick and Alex Browne serving as showrunner. It is directed and executive produced by Emmy Award and Spirit Award nominee Dawn Porter (“Gideon’s Army,” “John Lewis: Good Trouble”) and Academy Award and four-time BAFTA Award-winning Asif Kapadia (“Amy”). The series is produced by Jen Isaacson and Nell Constantinople.

Prince Harry Opens Up About What Triggers His Anxiety

While discussing his new Apple TV+ series "The Me You Can't See", Prince Harry admits that flying back to the U.K. triggers his anxiety, and he was “afraid about it” during his recent return for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. The Duke of Sussex also shares why teaming up with Oprah Winfrey on this project was a powerful way to start a global conversation about mental health. Prince Harry came on board for their new Apple TV+ series “The Me You Can’t See”, which focuses on opening up conversations around the world about mental health and erasing the stigma surrounding it. In the series, both Harry and Oprah open up about their own mental health struggles and trauma, and are joined by Lady Gaga, DeMar DeRozan, Glenn Close and more.
