Ruth Bader Ginsburg 2001 Speech to Society for Women's Health Research

At the Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR) awards dinner in 2001, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke openly for the first time about her diagnosis and treatment for colorectal cancer. Almost 20 years later, on Sept. 18, 2020, Ginsburg passed away due to complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer. Ginsburg will be remembered as a fierce advocate for women and gender equality.
