How to run commands in GUI terminal in Linux.

Here are the steps to run commands in the GUI terminal of CentOS 7:

Open the terminal: The terminal can be opened by clicking on the terminal icon in the top left corner of the screen.

Type the command: Once the terminal is open, you can type any command you want to execute. For example, if you want to update the system, type "sudo yum update" and press Enter.

Enter the password: If the command requires root or administrative privileges, you will be prompted to enter the password. Type your password and press Enter.

View the output: The output of the command will be displayed in the terminal window. If the command produces a lot of output, you can scroll up or down using the arrow keys.

Close the terminal: Once you are done running commands in the terminal, you can close the terminal window by clicking on the "X" button in the top right corner.

Use keyboard shortcuts: There are several keyboard shortcuts that can be used in the terminal, such as Ctrl+C to stop a running command, Ctrl+Z to pause a running command, and Ctrl+D to exit the terminal.

Customize the terminal: You can customize the terminal window by changing the font size, color scheme, and other settings. To do this, right-click on the terminal window and select "Preferences."

That's it! You should now be able to run commands in the GUI terminal of CentOS 7.
