Fortress Anchor Test. Deep Set. Video #42 of an ongoing anchoring series.

Demonstration of a 10 pound, Fortress FX-16 anchor being set at 3.5 to 1 and 5 to 1 scopes. Anchor is pulled at the relatively high thrust of 910 pounds.

The anchor continued to slowly drag at 3.5 to 1 scope but held firm at 5 to 1 scope.

Note: The Fortress Anchor website states that scope should not be less than 5 to 1. It would appear that this is a sound guideline.
