How do I distinguish God’s voice from my own thoughts?

How do I know if I’m hearing the voice of God? Am I just listening to my own thoughts? Todd, Cooper, and Emma answered those questions on this episode of Real Truth. Real Quick.

Show Notes:

1. When we’re not certain our thoughts are from God, test them against his revealed will: His word, the Bible.
2. God has given us the provision of his people.
3. Isolation is the garden in which idiosyncrasies grow.
4. Ask," Is this consistent with God’s word rightly read in context?"
5. When you come to the Bible come expectantly, humbly, eagerly, ready to change, and come ready having been changed and heard it, to share it with others.
