Karnataka-style Akki Rotti — Two Delicious Ways!
One soft like a pulka 🫓 and the other — a crispy, veggie-loaded thalipattu with beetroot & cabbage 🥕🥬

Wanna try both styles? Let’s get cooking!

Style 1 – Soft Pulka Style:
• Mix rice flour with hot water 💧
• Knead into a soft dough
• Shape into small pulka-like rounds
• Roast directly on stove flame
• Serve hot with sambar or your favorite sabji 🍛✨

Style 2 – Crispy Thalipattu:
• Heat oil 🛢️
• Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal & curry leaves 🌿
• Sauté chopped onions 🧅 until soft
• Add grated beetroot, carrot & cabbage 🥕🥬
• Sprinkle salt 🧂 & turmeric ✨, cook till dry
• Add a splash of water to soften
• Add garam masala & red chilli powder
• Sauté for a few more minutes
• Mix with rice flour + sautéed thalippu 🌿
• Make a soft dough
• Shape rottis directly on the pan
• Cook both sides with a little oil — crisp & full of flavor!

Serve hot with curd — total comfort in every bite! 🥣
