Retiring a pan (I almost used it: I couldn't fit the packet in, though I have before.). Has anyone else used a pan that was separating? This one boiled dry on one batch of books and I continued using it. With dust and lint in the space that didn't rinse out, it seemed unsafe. It's a good thing the pine branch in the book was too long for the pot.
