Ronnie O'Sullivan - Career Resurgence Clearance

During the German Masters, 2012, Ronnie was already 3 years without a ranking title. Last being his Shanghai Masters in 2009. He was rank 16 and needed title wins to ensure his direct entry into World Championship.
In the very first round of German Masters, he trailed 0-4 to Andrew Higginson, and was 0-63 down when he came and cleared up in around 4 minutes to reinstate that he was not done yet! He ended up winning the tournament.
Following this, he reached semis of Welsh Open and quarters of China Open to ensure direct entry to the Worlds.
What followed was 2 years of utter dominance over the circuit.
