The Omen (1976) - 'The New Ambassador' (Love Theme) scene [1080]

The first of the Omen films had a superb score that won composer Jerry Goldsmith his only Oscar. The two main elements of the score were the terrifying satanic chants, which accompanied the more occult moments of the film; and the lush, excellent love theme, which was used in scenes like this, before al hell broke loose. The theme was also adapted into the song 'The Piper Dreams'.

Directed by Richard Donner, from a screenplay by David Seltzer. Starring Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, Harvey Spencer Stephens (as Damien), David Warner and Billie Whitelaw. Music by one of the greats of the past few decades, the late Jerry Goldsmith.
