"Some Hobby That I Used to Know" - "Somebody That I Used to Know" adapted by the Marsh Family

This is our parody take on the Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye’s amazing 2011 digital hit from their Making Mirrors album, featuring the stunning voice of Kimbra. And since the original video was so stunning (with stop motion animation and face painting), we figured we should at least make an effort to do something a bit different with how we framed it - though the curtains and sofa still feature.

After a great half term of catching up with friends and family, including some rare visits (and being stuck in traffic - remember that?), we figured we would sing in memoriam about all the good intentions, pastimes, and hobbies that for a while revolutionised our lives during lockdown. But most of which have now fallen into disregard or disrepair. Kudos to all those people who have managed to carry things on that are making their lives more manageable or fulfilling - who can enjoy (and deserve) feeling superior when they watch this.
