Comparison | Tape vs hardware vs plugin saturation/compression

What device do you prefer to give your sounds some tape-like saturation and compression? I sometimes use regular cassettes to record on before importing that back to the DAW. At other times I use hardware gear or plugins to achieve the this. It all depends. Let's compare.
This is not a lab experiment of finding the "better" way. It's just meant to show different ways of achieving a cool vintage saturated distorted sound.
