HUNT Wheels - How To Convert a HUNT Sprint Hub from Through-Axle to Quick Release

Here are clear step-by-step instructions for converting a HUNT Sprint hub from through-axle to quick release (QR):

1. Gather necessary tools and parts:
- Two 17mm cone spanners
- Two 5mm Allen keys
- QR axle
- QR end caps

2. Remove the through-axle system:
a. Place 17mm cone spanners on each side of the hub
b. Rotate counterclockwise to break the seal
c. Continue unthreading until the system comes apart
d. Remove the non-drive side end cap (slightly longer) first

3. Remove the freehub body:
a. Pull the freehub body off the hub shell
b. Ensure the top hat spacer is present on the backside of the hub shell (crucial for all axle standards with the sprint hub)

4. Remove the through-axle:
a. Slide the freehub body off the through-axle sleeve
b. Set the through-axle aside

5. Install the QR axle:
a. Slide the QR axle through the hub shell
b. Ensure the top hat spacer is in place on the backside of the freehub body

6. Reassemble the hub:
a. Slide the freehub body onto the QR axle
b. Thread on the non-drive side end cap
c. Tighten until it bottoms out

7. Final tightening:
a. Use two 5mm Allen keys to tighten the system securely

8. Double-check that all components are properly seated and tightened
