680 Points - FLL City Shaper Max Score - Waring Brickwolves
Here is our 680 point robot game that we have been developing for the City Shaper Detroit World Festival. We were really excited to present this to everyone in competition at Worlds so we're very disappointed that that's not going to be possible :(. Here is our video about our robot design: https://youtu.be/9DzS0jlQDBM
We think we would have been able to score full score at Worlds because at our state tournament in December we scored reliably 590, 595, and 600 out of our 610 point max at the time (stupid tan color match!) and we have only grown as a team since then. Here is a link to our 600 point run from states: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCtyxDUygyg&t=149s
Feel free to ask any questions you have about our robot game, our team, or anything about FLL in the comments below, we'll respond very quickly.

Note: Due to COVID-19 we were unable to record the most recent version of one of our transitions (between our 6th and 7th runs), but the current version of this transition (with only one red building and an upgrade) takes the same amount of time as the one featured in the video.
Also, it's a bit difficult to see but we complete inspection during the title screen at 0:09

RULES CLARIFICATIONS:
Note: We have emailed Robot Game Support about everything in this video and everything below and they agreed that it is all legal. We strongly recommend emailing them about anything you do that bends the rules and taking virtual or printed out copies of those emails to your matches to show to judges so there aren't any disputes.
Crane Units in the Tree - The rules identify both of the blue buildings in the crane mission as “Units,” which means that they each score 15 points if supported by the small branches of the tree. We get 20 points from lowering the hooked unit, 15 points for having the hooked unit supported by another blue unit, and although we miss out on the 15 points from having them inside of the blue circle we get 30 points for having the units supported by the small branches of the tree.
Flags - The rules do not say that you have to push up the flags using the blue beams, so we are allowed to push up the flags from the outside. Also, by pushing them up from the outside we push them further up than is possible with the blue beams, meaning that even if there is a robot on both blue beams pushing up the flags we still get the points because we push them up farther.
Elevator gripper - The rules only say that nothing can be touching the moving parts of the elevator, and we only grip the base of the model, which increases friction and prevents the elevator from falling. https://youtu.be/w0oE84tlq5U
Shelf - The rules say that nothing can be over 12 inches during inspection and launch, but we confirmed with game support that this does not apply to home during the match.
Launch Spacers - We are aware that when the robot is launched there is not allowed to be anything spanning the border between launch and home. You can see in some of our launches we separate our launch jig into two separate pieces to satisfy this requirement, which is what we do during matches. However, due to not being able to film because of COVID-19, the only video of some of our runs was while individually workshopping them in practice which is why we don't separate the spacer during those launches.
