In my previous video, we solved the problem using full calculus and differential equations. It worked, but it took time. In this video, I’m showing you the "Physicist’s Shortcut"—the approach that lets you tick the right option and move on while others are still writing their first sine wave.
The Secret: Angular Momentum.
The expression xVy−yVx isn't just a random bunch of variables. It is the z-component of the specific angular momentum ( r × v ).
The Breakdown:
Central Force Recognition: I show you why F=−r means the force is always directed toward the origin.Zero Torque: If the force is central, there is no torque ( τ= r × F=0).
Conservation: No torque means L is constant. This means the value of xVy−yVx at t=π/4 (or any other time) is identical to its value at t=0.
The Result: We solve the entire problem just by plugging in the initial coordinates. No integration, no trig identities, no sweat.
The "Super All-Rounder" Mindset:
Mastering JEE isn't about being a calculator; it's about recognizing the laws that govern the universe. When you see the symmetry, the math becomes secondary.
