The Shroud of Turin: Proof of Authenticity Beyond Reasonable Doubt (1 of 2)

The result of the radiocarbon dating of the Turin Shroud in 1988 received worldwide attention and is widely seen as conclusive proof that the cloth was a forgery dating from mediaeval times. There have however been many other lines of scientific research over the years that have provided compelling evidence that the cloth is much older than the 14th century date given by the radiocarbon test. Furthermore, much of this evidence directly connects the cloth to the events commemorated during Easter.

This video outlines a number of these lines of evidence and explains why the samples taken from the Turin Shroud for radiocarbon dating delivered an incorrect result.
