Join me for a windy spring day on the farm and beyond! It’s March 21, and a skiff of snow lingers as I check on chickens, dodge electric fences, and juggle chores with my granddaughter Millie tagging along. The blackbirds are noisy, and the farm’s waking up—barely. Reflecting on Ephesians 6:14—girding our loins with truth and donning the breastplate of righteousness—I explore standing firm in faith against life’s chaos. Later, we shift gears to a riverside trail under construction, marvel at an old railroad bridge, and lament the graffiti marring it. From farm to trail, it’s a day of work, wonder, and wrestling with truth.
