Experts argue equity financing, IPOs & institutional investors suit long-term projects better. Continued debt-driven expansion risks systemic collapse and shifts the burden onto ordinary depositors.

বিজনেস চালাতে ব্যাংক লোন নেওয়া স্বাভাবিক একটি প্র্যাকটিস, কিন্তু সমস্যা শুরু হয় যখন নতুন সেক্টরে বিজনেস এক্সপ্যানশনের নামে বিশাল পরিমান লোন নেওয়া হয়। অনেক কোম্পানি সুদ ও কিস্তির চাপে পড়ে ব্যবসা টিকিয়ে রাখতে হিমশিম খায়, আবার কিছু কোম্পানি এই লোনকেই করে ফেলে টাকা লুটের মাধ্যম। অথচ গ্লোবালি এক্সপ্যানশনের জন্য ইকুইটি ফাইন্যান্সিং-ই সবচেয়ে বাস্তবসম্মত, যেখানে বাংলাদেশে বিজনেস এক্সপ্যানশন এর নামে এই লোন নেওয়ার প্রবণতা দেশে পুরো বাংকিং সিস্টেমকেই দুর্বল করে তুলছে।
