Surfing the most crowded wave ALONE.

We went all-in on the forecast. A last-minute strike mission to Arugam Bay, chasing the first swell of the season… but what we found wasn’t just waves—it was something way deeper.

This trip was a wild ride. From the open roads and unexpected weather to close encounters with elephants, good friends, empty waves, and a whole lot of lessons in between. It wasn’t just about scoring the biggest sets—it became about the moments between the waves, the quiet, the laughter, the frustration, the search itself. The lulls in the surf mirrored the lulls in life, and through the ups and downs, I realized how much we miss when we’re only focused on the next set.

Somehow, on one of the most crowded waves in the world, we scored it EMPTY. Head-high, mechanical, mini J-Bay-style perfection in Sri Lanka… and not a soul out.

This video isn’t just a surf mission—it’s a reminder to slow down, soak up the journey, and enjoy the unexpected.

I’m super proud of how this episode turned out. I’m learning every step of the way how to capture, edit, and tell these stories… but this is only the beginning. So much more to come.

Thanks for riding along. Yewww!
