As pottery festival season ramps up in our state, now is a good time to explore the North Carolina Pottery Center, a museum and living gallery of our state’s oldest indigenous art.

The only state-wide facility in the nation devoted solely to pottery, the North Carolina Pottery Center tells the story of our state's clay culture through exhibitions, participatory multi-media, and experiential and educational opportunities.
