"The Second Mountain": David Brooks on valuing relationships over personal success

New York Times op-ed columnist David Brooks is on a mission to help people live a deeper and more joyful life. In his new book, "The Second Mountain: The Quest for a Moral Life," Brooks argues that life is defined by two mountains: On the first mountain, people tackle personal goals, and on the second, people learn to focus on service to others.
