On the night of May 10th through the morning hours of May 11th, 2024, while the world was experiencing one of the largest solar storm events in 20 years, I took this time-lapse of the Aurora Borealis over the Superstition mountains in Arizona. It is very rare for southern latitudes such as my home in Gold Canyon, Arizona to able to witness an aurora this far south.
