RAF Aircraft are taking part in NATO’s largest Air Deployment Exercise since the end of the cold war. The RAF contingent is testing the Agile Combat Employment model by deploying from both the Op Azotize deployment in Estonia and the Op Shader deployment in Cyprus to take part. This brings together Typhoons from different RAF squadrons to operate together as one integrated unit operating from a German Air Base.

The ground support element, has forward deployed from 140 EAW currently conducting the NATO Air Policing mission in Estonia.

The Typhoons are also being joined by RAF Brize Norton Voyager aircraft and RAF Marham based 617 Sqn F-35Bs operating from their home bases.
