Set your budget and priorities
There is such a great variety of PC components, it might be tricky to decide where to compromise. It can be simpler to focus on top-value components for the games you play, like graphics, CPU, memory, or storage. All of these directly impact gaming performance. Other components can offer budget-friendlier options, such as older-generation models instead of the newest releases.

A GPU suited for you
Gaming PCs, unlike typical PCs, typically have dedicated GPUs. CPU-integrated graphics may suffice for CS:Go, Roblox, or Rocket League, but most gamers will want a little extra juice, especially for modern AAA games. The trick to selecting the right CPU for your affordable gaming PC is to balance performance with cost.
