Whether the costume is being made by hand od drawn by the animators, the realization of the costumes helps sell the aesthetics of the film, whether it be a charming castle with a cursed man inside like Beauty and the Beast, to the high seas in Pirates of the Caribbean and even out of our own galaxy in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
