Part 2. Wild camps or campsites, you decide.

We could both do with a rest from driving and Tony definitely needs a beer. Never wanting to risk having an alcoholic drink whilst in a wild camping location, we make like a Turkey at Christmas and head for a campsite on the outskirts of the La Rochelle. A very convenient campsite for La Rochelle, use it to visit the city, however, it's not one to park up on for an entire holiday.

The campsite is like many commercial sites and although the facilities around the pool are great, the neglected shower block is disappointing. It confirms to us one thing; we belong on the road and in the wild.
