Legal Experts Agree — The DOJ Is Being Weaponized for Political Ends

The 2026 elections are already being shaped by what this Administration is doing. Fifty prominent legal experts — from both parties — warn that the DOJ is being weaponized for political ends. Congress has mostly stood by, and parts of the Supreme Court have helped expand presidential immunity while weakening checks on power.

We’re also seeing other intimidation tactics take shape. Federal forces are being sent into Democratic cities to manufacture crises and provoke unrest — which in turn would justify sending more troops into cities. This is all about shaping the environment for the mid-term elections.
