Siphon technique of draining artificial lakes

This is proposed for draining the artificial lake formed due to the blockage of the Phugtal river in Zanskar Ladakh. It can also be used for draining the other artificial lakes forming all over Himalayas due to fast melting of glaciers. These lakes cause destructive flash floods when they burst open, as happened in Gya village in 2014.
