▶︎Police body cam video #1 - Cardiff, Wales, UK, May 9, 2020 - Watch as an officer carrying Taser assist colleagues arrest a man who was armed with a knife – and who had threatened to throw it at police. Luke Spinks has now been jailed following the incident in #Ely #Cardiff, earlier this year. The presence of Taser alone is often enough to calm an offender or someone in crisis, and in the vast majority of Taser-authorised incidents, it is not actually discharged. South Wales Police Cardiff officers were called to Vachell Road, #Ely, just after 11am on Saturday, May 9 to reports of domestic incident involving a man under the influence of drunk and drugs being verbally aggressive towards his parents. Armed with a large kitchen knife, Luke Spinks threatened and verbally abused officers in the back garden of the property. During the incident, captured on Body Worn Camera, officers repeatedly asked Spinks to drop the knife.

Police body cam video #2 - Birmingham, West Midlands, England, UK, April 13, 2020 - A dangerous driver has been jailed for a year after speeding at up to 100mph through the streets of Birmingham to escape police. Officers on motorbike patrol in Aston spotted a white VW Golf R being driven by Nicholas Caddy when they saw a passenger get out and hurry away. Officers followed the car and tried to get it to pull over, but it sped away. Caddy, aged 25, reached 100mph, overtaking a van on a bend and swerving to avoid stationary traffic in the Birchfield Road area.

Police body cam video #3 - Gillingham, Kent, South East, England, UK, March 12, 2020 - A drug dealer has been jailed after officers found more than £50,000 hidden inside a chimney. Samuel Overy, 19, from Chatham, was jailed for four years and four months at Maidstone Crown Court on 27 July 2020. Overy had pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis and acquiring criminal property. He was arrested on 12 March 2020 following a search warrant at a house in Solomon Road, Gillingham, where a safe was found containing cocaine and cannabis.

Police body cam video #4 - Birmingham, West Midlands, England, UK, May 18, 2020 - A suspected drug network ‘money man’ made a botched bid to distance himself from a safe-full of cash by hurling it from a first floor window…sending it crashing onto the roof of his Birmingham home extension. Officers forced entry to the address in Serpentine Road at around 6am today (18 May) on the back of intelligence it was linked to a drugs supply gang.

Police dash cam video #5 (NO AUDIO) - Salisbury, Wiltshire, South West, England, UK, November 9, 2018 - A man who went on the run after taking part in a series of high-value burglaries in Salisbury and south Wiltshire has been jailed for two years. Patrick Jones, from Liverpool, was sentenced yesterday (Wednesday) at Winchester Crown Court. The 28-year-old, who was already disqualified at the time of the offence in November 2018, was also sentenced to six months and disqualified for eight years and three months for dangerous driving after leading police on a high speed chase on the A500.

Officers administered the life-saving drug Naloxone, which is an emergency antidote for overdoses caused by heroin and other opiates.

Stop and search is a very important tool available to officers and has a role to play in our wider work tackling violent crime and make communities safer. However, we understand being searched by a police officer could be a very uncomfortable experience. We recently hosted an event in which people who’ve previously been stopped on the streets of Birmingham were invited to tell us about the experience.

Police body cam video #8 - Failsworth, Greater Manchester, North West, England, UK, June 13, 2020 - Police have released footage of officers helping a stab victim at an illegal rave in a bid to urge people to stay away from further events this weekend. Three people were stabbed and a 20-year-old man died of a suspected drug overdose as thousands broke coronavirus lockdown restrictions to attend two illegal “quarantine raves” in Manchester last Saturday night.
