Robin was on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson to promote his film, Good Morning Vietnam (a film in which he was nominated for best actor). What was wonderful about this episode is not so much the promotion of the film, but once again his boundless energy which is so visible. Johnny can hardly talk (because he is laughing so hard.) What I love about the Carson/Williams interactions is that Johnny, being a comedian himself, knows what seeds to plant before Robin.
He plants it (like a bomb) and then falls back to enjoy the explosion from Robin's improvisations.
