Also the SSC Ultimate Aero doesn't count, it was an overglorified kit car, and along the same lines, so was the Venom GT, as even Hennessey himself acknowledges that it feels too British Lotus inspired to be considered a ground up built American grown car, hence the whole reason he's making the F5.
