Dear Dumbass, Tim Pool

Tim Pool is a popular Youtuber who covers politics. I dabble in that myself and even though I don’t watch his show or follow him on Twitter, his tweets occasionally cross my desk, usually when he’s trolling. A tweet that seems to be sincere was sent to me last night in which Tim says that you shouldn’t talk to people who don’t use their name and real picture on social media. He goes on to suggest he’s out there fighting along and tells a college student to throw away their education to be like him.

As you might imagine, I have a few things to say about that, particularly the “hiding behind an avatar” nonsense.
