By Myself (Drums Only)

This is a drums only section from my drum cover of cover of 'By Myself" by Linkin park. It’s definitely more aggressive than the actual song…I had to throw in some double kick!! Anyways….I'm not able to post this full cover due to copyright violation, which is really confusing because I've never had this issue before, plus, I figured of all songs, this one wouldn't be the issue. So I'm disappointed since this took me around 4-5 hours to shoot, mix, and edit, BUT oh well! Anyway...I'm pretty happy with this mix so I wanted to share a section of the drum track so my time wasn't completely wasted. My goal for 2022 is to stop using triggers and samples. I don't always use them, but I have on some of my previous videos. All the videos that are apart of this series of covers are 100% natural.

The tempo here is 206 bpm. If anything, this video shows that you DON'T NEED triggers in order to play heel toe double bass at moderate speeds. If you practice hard enough, you CAN play heel-toe with power.
