How To Make A Self Watering Moss Pole | DIY Moss Pole Tutorial

In this video I’ll show you how to make a self watering moss pole. I’m in a different setting today with my best friend.

I talk about how to make a moss pole from scratch, how to make it self watering and what materials I use.

If you’re asking how to get vining plants to climb, how to get larger leaves on plants or how to get more fenestrations in leaves then look no further and make your own moss pole. By making it self watering you will help aerial roots cling and suck up moisture.

It’s important when making moss poles or using any sort of sphagnum moss to make sure it is sustainably sourced and not taken from its natural habitat.

The materials I used to make this moss pole for my plants are as follows:
PVC pipe (with plug)
Plastic mesh
Cotton strips
Cable ties
Sphagnum moss

It took me a total of thirty minutes so is definitely a quick plant craft and something you can DIY.
