Short trip to BUYUK ADA(Princess Island) Istanbul 🇹🇷 #placestovisitistanbul

Büyükada (Greek: Πρίγκηπος or Πρίγκιπος, rendered Prinkipos or Prinkipo), meaning "Big Island" in Turkish, is the largest of the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, near Istanbul, with an area of about 2 square miles (5 square kilometres). It is made up of the Maden and Nizam neighbourhoods in the Adalar (Islands) district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.

There are public and private ferries to go to the Island. Public allows you to use your Istanbul card but for the private you pay cash and is on the higher side, not a big difference though. Public takes a longer time almost two hours as for the private it takes an hour and some minutes. The public is pretty much crowded as it is cheaper. Also the Island has a beach side where you pay more than 700tl around 20$ just to get in. The other side is rocky and is on the path with no place to change except you ask from some small restaurants next to the sea. Oh, don't be startled to see people change just there as others pass.. It's quite normal. Since am a budget traveler I opted to stay rocky🤣Only bomber was the water is a little deep and slippery under there for someone who can't swim🤷😜
Nevertheless it's a nice place to visit and probably in the morning hours coz of crowds.
