Brendan O'Carroll and Jenny Gibney launch Have a Laugh for Loneliness

"I have no family really in Dublin. I don't really have anyone to call on me or to sit in with me for a cup of tea."

We recently had a visit from Brendan O'Carroll and Jenny Gibney of Mrs Brown's Boys to launch our Have a Laugh for Loneliness campaign. Sally, Jim and Betty, three people who have been affected by loneliness, shared their stories with them. We're calling on everyone to donate to ALONE, to run an event to combat loneliness and to reach out to the older people you know, to help us work towards beating loneliness this Christmas.
