Microsoft Exchange, Windows 11 hacked on second day of Pwn2Own.

On day two of Pwn2Own Berlin 2026, contestants successfully demonstrated 15 unique zero-day exploits across Windows 11, Microsoft Exchange, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Workstations, earning $385,750 in awards. All exploits were executed live under contest conditions, confirming exploitable weaknesses in current builds of widely deployed desktop and email server software. Under Pwn2Own rules, technical details are not disclosed publicly and are provided privately to vendors, so specifics about bug classes, exploit chains, and affected versions are not available at this time. Inventory where you run Exchange, Windows 11, and RHEL Workstations; prepare rapid testing and deployment of forthcoming patches; minimize exposed services, enforce least privilege with strong EDR coverage, and monitor vendor advisories and logs for anomalous email and endpoint activity.
