Jane Riley - Macro Algae

For Heallreaf 4 Jane has continued exploring her love of the environment and the natural world, particularly the local coastline from Ravenscar to the mouth of the Tees. Currently the work is about seaweed and Jane can often be found wading out to sea at low tide with camera and sketchbook in hand scouring rock pools. She is currently creating a body of work celebrating the diversity of marine life in the area and investigating the impact of local industrial areas on these habitats.
