Pseudomonas is a common infection with venous ulceration, also known as wounds due to venous insufficiency. As a certified lymphedema therapist who specializes a wound care with lymphedema this is a common occurrence in the clinic. Unfortunately, it's often missed with a diagnosis, and the person's wounds do not heal until this infection is actively dealt with. It also is unfortunately misdiagnosed as cellulitis quite regularly. It is important to understand the symptoms of pseudomonas in order to be able to resolve that issue so wound healing can begin.
