After the pyramids we were taken to this store and given a few demonstrations.
One was all the uses of the remarkable maguey plant.
(pronounced ma-GaY)
They demonstrated a few of the numerous ways the aztecs used the maguey plant. it is still used today for all kinds of remedies, drinks, textiles, clothing, blankets, building materials, etc etc etc etc
