Hope you all had an awesome weekend! My friend Christina was kind enough to film an apartment tour for us! She is a teacher at a prestigious private Christian school in Santiago de los Caballeros. The school provides her with this amazing apartment in Los Jardines, Santiago, and she'll explain more about rent and cost of living. It is very interesting to see what different schools provide in terms of living, and how different american expats live in the dominican republic. It's a great location near some great restaurants, shops, malls, her school, gyms, and more. She is also very close to downtown Santiago de los Caballeros, near the monument. In addition to the apartment tour, you'll also see her walk to school and get more of an idea of what Santiago looks like. If you're an expat, I recommend checking out this area if you like Santiago as it is very convenient. I love getting to see life in the Dominican Republic, cost of living for expats in DR, and apartment/house tours! It's also cool to see the difference in apartments and cost of living between Santiago, Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Las Terrenas, Samana and Jarabacoa. What do you think about her place?
