Ramset "Piston-Set" - Bell System AT-8435 - Low Velocity Powder Actuated Tool

I'm guessing the "Piston-Set" tool was available in the late sixties and was probably obsolete and withdrawn from the market before 1975. The Piston Set tool wasn't the only high velocity tool with a low velocity counterpart. Speed Fastener did it with the 825 and the Remington 462 could be converted from a hi-v tool to a lo-v in just a couple of minutes. As for Bell System: AT-8436 B stud driver apparently is the number for both the Star and Ramset tools and they may have been purchasing from both companies at the same time. I believe this may be true because all the powder loads, Omark, Ramset, green, and brown use the same part number (AT-8436), regardless of make or color and most of the drive pins also have the same number (AT-7887) on the bag. By 1975, Bell System was using regular .22 calibers tools and powder loads without the plastic sleeve.
