Dusty and Trinh's Traverse Area Adventures July 2018!

We pack up our new boat and head North 3 hours to Torch Lake in Northern Lower Michigan (just above Traverse City) and enjoy a day of activities in the amazing clear water. We start off by heading to some old log cribs for free diving and fishing, then I get to use my Sub Wing and fly underwater behind the boat for a while!
We did a bit of scuba/hookah diving to look for trash/treasures and then had dinner at Dockside before finding a nice place to park the boat and camper van for the night.
The next morning brought us into Traverse City to Denny's for Breakfast and then to Elmwood Marina to launch the boat. We took off toward Power Island in the fog and worked our way to the beach. I thought for sure that we would be the only boat there, but we weren't! :)
We do some hiking around the island while it was foggy and cool and after an hour or so we came back to beautiful blue skies for free diving.
I found an anchor while diving and was suprised by Trinh after I turned around and unexpectedly saw her right in front of me 30 feet down...
I thought she had stayed on the surface!
After diving for a while, we pack up and head back to Elmwood Marina to dive a wreck that I used to scuba dive on as a young kid. This is Trinh's first time seeing it, so I'm very excited to share it with her!
It was an amazing weekend together and I hope you enjoy the video. I had a good time putting it together and enjoy making a nice lasting video memory for us.
