Chiffon Sponge Roll with Condensed Milk Buttercream Filling (Pinoy Pianono)
Now that you already know how to bake the basic chiffon cake https://youtu.be/HYoSXWtwF0w you can make it more exciting and delicious by using the same recipe but this time we're going to fill it with the sweet and savoury Condensed Milk Buttercream.
Go ahead and try this recipe, bake it yourself using the following ingredients.
Batter
12 pcs. Egg Yolks
150g Vegetable Oil
216g White Sugar
1 tsp or 6g Salt
6 tbsp or 90g Water
1 tsp or 20g Vanilla
2.5 cup or 320g Sifted Cake Flour
1 tsp or 5g Baking Powder
Meringue
12 pcs Egg Whites
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
250g White Sugar
Condensed Milk Buttercream
200g Condensed Milk
200g Salted Butter
1pcs yolk (optional)
Baking Temperature: 160 degrees centigrade
Baking Time: 27 to 30 minutes
Note: This recipe will yield 2 rolls of sponge cake, just double the recipe for the buttercream so you can fill the other roll.
